We’re passionate about providing excellent customer service. Every year we help thousands of people move home and we understand that you need to know what’s happening at every stage. Whether you’re a first time buyer or seasoned mover we’re here to help you.
Our specialist conveyancing teams have expertise in dealing with selling, buying and re-mortgaging freehold, leasehold and shared ownership properties.
We also have a dedicated new homes team who are experts in dealing with developers and their deadlines as well as Help to Buy schemes for new build properties.
Our staff work in teams to ensure that there is always someone available to discuss your case. Each team is headed by an experienced conveyancer, who in turn is supervised by a Licensed Conveyancer and ultimately our Head of Legal Practice. We will give you the names and contact details of all members of your team when you instruct us.
Please check out our buying guide, selling guide, buying FAQs, selling FAQs and lots more information about what we do, how the process works and how you can help us to make things move along more quickly.
The national average from instructing a conveyancer to completion is currently 6 – 12 weeks although there can be many reasons why transactions can be quicker or slower than this.
For example, leasehold properties can often take longer due to the involvement of a management company and/or landlord. If you are buying a new property the developer will usually expect contracts to be exchanged within 4-5 weeks from the date you reserve your property, even though your new home may not be ready for some time.
